RowNook

CSV quoting, separators and validation

Choose the separator used in your source: comma, semicolon, tab or pipe. Auto checks the header outside quoted fields; review the preview before downloading. It does not infer every possible CSV dialect.

A field containing the separator, a line break or a double quote must be quoted. Double a quote inside a quoted field. A physical line inside a quoted field belongs to the same record. Errors report the source line and field. No malformed rows are silently dropped.

Downloads always include the full parsed dataset. Search and the first-25-record preview do not narrow exports. On mobile, records are displayed one at a time. Output is UTF-8 with configurable BOM and line endings. Clipboard copy is Unicode text; BOM is a file option.

Current guardrails: 5 MiB input, 50,000 records, 200 columns, 1,000,000 cells and 20 MiB JSON output. Combining maximum rows and maximum columns can exceed the cell limit. Processing runs in a worker and can be cancelled.
